At Apple's Let Loose event on May 7, Apple announced the new iPad Pro and iPad Air tablets, along with the new Apple Pencil Pro and updated Magic Keyboard, as well as iPadOS 17.8 about the features to be run.
1. iPad Pro, now with OLED screens and M4
The 2024 iPad Pro's display features a Tandem OLED panel that's brighter than most OLED panels. The thinner, more powerful display delivers true-to-life colors and performs better in low light, earning Apple its latest branding name, "Ultra Retina XDR." Although the new iPad was initially rumored to have Apple's M3 chip, it has been revealed that the new iPad Pro has an M4 chip built on second-generation 3nm technology. Apple claims the GPU is four times faster than the previous iPad Pro's M2.
Like previous generations, Apple is making the latest iPad Pro available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. This iPad Pro is Apple's thinnest product ever: the newest tablet is 5.3mm thick, while the 13-incher is 5.1mm thick.
2. The iPad Air gets a new, larger size
The new iPad Air is available in 11-inch and 13-inch screen sizes. Unlike the M4-equipped iPad Pro, the iPad Air comes with an M2 chip, making it almost 50% faster than the previous M1 model and three times faster than the A13 Bionic model. The new iPad Air is available in Blue, Purple, Star and Space Grey. So if you want to buy a tablet, then definitely this option is an ideal choice.
3. Apple Pencil Pro
Apple has released an all-new Apple Pencil, the Apple Pencil Pro. Perhaps the biggest innovation is the use of the Find My program. From now on, you can find your Pencil in minutes thanks to the Find My app. It is compatible with iPad Pro 11 and 13 (M4) and iPad Air 11 and 13 (M2).
You will also find this innovation in any store selling tablets.
It should also be noted that the presence of a new Keyboard and the use of iPadOS 17.5 are among the news of the event.
